Proceeds Go To

We have chosen one meal site and four shelters throughout Rhode Island to donate to this year. All of the shelters house families and offer a wide range of support services. And they all need our help. With the Rhode Island unemployment rate hovering around 13%, state and federal budget cuts, and the average rent for a two bedroom apartment being over $1000/month more and more families are losing their homes. The shelters in Rhode Island provide help with finding jobs, finishing education and setting up a reasonable budget that will allow people to be successful on their own. Case managers, teachers, therapists, child advocates and many others devote their lives to helping families during their time at the shelter.

My own daughter once said "family" was her favorite word. With your support we can help families in need find their way to a happier, more secure future with the opportunities every child deserves.
